Xenia Horne has performed at a myriad of events all over the UK, from tiny private gatherings to major receptions at 11Downing Street, the Chelsea Flower Show and Pennyhill Park Hotel. She regularly performs at weddings on her beautiful white maple harp with gilded soundboard. Xenia is able to arrange music specifically for your event and to compose also. She plays grand concert harp, Celtic harp both solo in in ensembles with other established musicians including Ivan McCready Cello, Lucy Marks Flute and Clare Hawes Recorders and Voice. Xenia has built her reputation on attention to detail coupled with high standards of performance in all genres of music.
Xenia is also a highly experienced community project director, writer, composer and performer.She is a full Equity member and has created shows for independent theatre companies as well as working with Tiebreak Theatre, Salisbury Playhouse, Eastern Angles and Southwold Summer Theatre where she has written and produced three musical plays for children. She is the director and founder of AndAction Productions
Ideally a space 2 metre squared will be fine, hard floor and wooden surfaces offer the best acoustic.
No power is needed as the harp is powerful enough however for gatherings of 300 or more people would recommend a second instrument or PA.
The harp can work equally well outside or indoors.
