Production Designer
A Production Designer, with twenty five years experience designing for Theatre, Events, TV and FilmGraduating in Theatre Design and selected to work for the BBC Design Department. I have been freelance for ten years, continuing my design career, including designing five features.
Amongst my career highlights are All Creatures Great And Small, shot in the Yorkshire Dales, studio and location work on several Dickens adaptations, a Millennium concert in Trinidad and Tobago, and The Last Days Of The Raj filmed in India.
I work within a fantastically creative industry delivering a comprehensive range of imaginative and creative settings for Film, Drama, Light Entertainment and Factual Productions, in studio and on location.
As a Head Of Department, I manage people, but have always worked as part of a team. I understand the importance and value of this.
Planning and attention to detail are second nature to me, as is resourcefulness, creative thinking and problem solving. I often work on several projects simultaneously and have developed good organisational skills.
I have a proven record of producing innovative and original designs, on time and on budget.
