Event and Management Services was created on 1st October 1997 by founding director Pete Allison. Having spent the previous 16 years since 1981 in the professional touring industry as a lighting designer and latterly a production manager, Pete was approached in 1996 to take on a full event management role for a significant annual event client and also a bi-centenary celebration and conference for an internationally based client, all of which took the business into new and broader territory.
