1960's Covers Band

    Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
   60s Band
    POA
RANK #2276
Carnaby Street is a very popular local 60's and 70's covers band based in Leighton Buzzard.
The band has been playing around Beds, Bucks, Herts. and Northants for over 15 years and has a large enthusiastic local following of loyal fans and supporters and never fails to please.
Playing an energetic mix of well loved classics from the late 50's, 60's and early 70's era including a bit of glam rock and some rock n' roll standards thrown in for good measure, Carnaby Street can be relied upon to get the party going and the crowd on their feet dancing along.
A great band for private and corporate functions, pubs, clubs , weddings and parties where a polished band playing all the hits from an era that everyone loves is required.
The bands playlist includes classic covers from the late 50's, 60's and early 70's including songs from The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Searchers, The Kinks, The Shadows, Roy Orbison, Elvis Presley, Credence Clearwater Revival, The Monkeys, and a bit of Glam Rock from T. Rex, The Sweet and many many more. See a sample playlist on the link above.
For more information, Mp3's, gig dates, playlist etc. check out our web site at: www.carnaby-street.co.uk
Band members are:- Danny Fury (vocals), Jackie Springfield (vocals / backing vocals), Martin Marvin (lead guitar), Brian Lennon (rhythm guitar), Nick Entwhistle (bass) and Matt Bonham (drums / vocals).
Our two vocalists, Danny (The Killer) Fury and the lovely Jackie Springfield have often been mistaken for identical twins by some (usually very short-sighted) fans, and really get the audience on their feet and partying.
As well as playing all the classic 60's stuff, the two guitarist - Martin and Brian, plus Nick on bass and Matt our drummer could almost be mistaken for The Shadows (but clearly aren't) from their great renditions of songs and instrumentals like Move It, Riders in the Sky, and Walk Don't Run.
Book us for your function or party and see for yourselves, you won't regret it.
