Rickie's likeness to Michael Buble was pointed out by a Top UK agent in Entertainment from a gig in 2010 whereby Rickie was the lead singer of a tribute band.

Rickie's resemblance could be helped by the fact that he also comes from Italian descent. He is Welsh/Italian as Michael Buble is Canadian /Italian. Realizing all this he decided to set out to perfect and give an amazing performance and tribute to Michael Buble, coincidentally he was already a very big fan of Michael Buble and already knew most of his songs.
