Anna Downes is a freelance violinist who has performed at corporate events and functions all over the UK and abroad. She plays with English Symphony Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra (with artists such as Katherine Jenkins and Russell Watson and the National Concert Orchestra of Great Britain. Anna performs as a solo violinist with high quality backing tracks and also as part of a string duo and string quartet. Anna is the lead violinist with both VLO String Quartet and the Lynwood Lea Quartet, playing regularly at weddings, functions and coporate events. She also deputises for established quartets such as Wignornia String Quartet, Astaria String Quartet, Highly-Strung Quartet, No Strings Attached and Reflection Strings on a regular basis. Anna can provide a wide slection of music as a solo violinist with backing tracks. She travels with a compact sound system and pick-up microphone.
