Bushey Hall Golf Club is constructed around a plateau of 130 acres of rolling parkland with two small valleys and has been in existence for over 115 years.

In 1889 Willie Park Jnr won the British Open and one Robert Stewart Clouston returned from holiday in Scotland intent on building a golf course. In Bushey Hall Golf Club’s history there have been many changes with original ownership from members to a proprietary owned as far back as 1896, with the first split (the members that left then formed West Herts Golf Club).

Bushey Hall’s future is now on a solid footing as the freehold is owned by Veladail Leisure Ltd who also manage the club and course. With new ownership of Bushey Hall came badly needed investment to bring the course and clubhouse up to standard. Recently all 18 tees have been rebuilt to USGA specification, with computer controlled irrigation for the tees, greens and approaches.
